MEP Design
BSAP provide expert advice on Building Services in the built environment and energy sectors. The team is a group of highly experienced individuals, with a long standing background in construction and consultancy.

Typical engagements are:
Full Mechanical and Electrical Design Duties;
Production of a ISO19650 Compliant BIM Model;
Calculation packages (These are produced in-model with StabiCad);
MEP Tender pack production and Tender evaluation;
VFM Analysis with alternative design costing.

With ever increasing Part L, planning, and BRE requirements, our projects require much higher performance across the fabric and systems specified within a given building. Our expertise lies in understanding the client requirements and forging a path that balances these with capital and operational expenditure. Cost Consultancy
We use a combined approach to costing to allow us to be as accurate as possible. We have an experienced Quantity Surveying team combined with BIM experience that allows us to follow a workflow as shown in the graphic left.
As design information quality increases, our margin for error decreases. This ensures a level of certainty that can be difficult to attain otherwise.
The way we do this is by using standard rates in the beginning, then taking off precise counts, lengths etc from the model as the LOD improves.
